EU-wide/Brussels – On Monday in Luxembourg, the EU climate ministers agreed on an EU negotiating mandate for the world climate summit in Dubai (COP28) at the end of November. The EU is striving for an end to fossil fuels, but is leaving the door open for fossil fuels if their emissions are reduced through CO2 storage technology, according to a statement from the Council.
