Vienna/Brussels – Unlike the transport ministers of the EU member states, the European Parliament voted on Wednesday in favor of the use of so-called Gigaliners on European roads. Although not entirely, because it was only the transport committee that gave the green light for the use of so-called supertrucks, i.e. trucks with semi-trailers that are up to 25 meters long and weigh up to 60 tons. However, this comes with conditions.
