Eurocommercial is now the sole owner of the Woluwe Shopping Center, reports the Echo. The listed real estate company purchased in April the 25.63% minority stake still held by AG Real Estate, the real estate arm of AG Insurance. The latter received 69.6 million euros for its 25.63% of Eurocommercial Properties Belgium.
The Woluwe Shopping Center is one of the oldest indoor shopping centers in Europe. According to Eurocommercial’s half-yearly report, the turnover of the 124 stores increased by 15% compared to the first half of 2022 and is 11% higher compared to 2019.
Eurocommercial has a portfolio of 24 shopping centers and retail parks in France, Italy, Sweden and Belgium, worth €3.8 billion.
