Europol Launches New Most Wanted List with More Than 50 Criminals, Including Two Wanted by Belgian Police

Europol launched a new version of its most wanted list on Friday. This list includes more than 50 new names, including two criminals hunted by Belgian police forces. This was announced by the European police organization on Friday.

Europol and the European Fugitive Active Search Team (Enfast) network are launching this new list “to raise public awareness of fugitives wanted for serious crimes”.

To achieve this objective, a campaign around the theme of “superheroes” is also launched. The message is that everyone can help catch a wanted criminal. Europol therefore invites citizens to visit the website eumostwanted.eu to check whether they recognize a person on the list. A tip can then be passed on anonymously.

“By taking a quick look at the EU Most Wanted List website, you can help save potential victims. Visit the site and help us find them,” said Catherine De Bolle, Europol Executive Director for Belgium.

The new list also includes two people wanted by the Belgian police forces: the Albanian Fejzulla Haredin and the Nigerian Felix Omoregie.

Fejzulla Haredin (58 years old) was sentenced to a total of 18 years in prison in our country for drug trafficking and membership in a criminal organization. Felix Omoregie (46 years old) was sentenced to 12 years in prison. He organized the trafficking of young girls, including minors, as the head of a criminal organization.
