Is our parliamentary democratic system in danger?
We brought together at the “Soir” the presidents of the French-speaking parties (only Paul Magnette declined our invitation), for an in-depth debate on this single, but broad, theme of democracy. What specific fears do they express? Are they questioning their practices? What part of the responsibility do they bear? But also: what solutions do they propose to improve, open up or reform our democratic system?
