Exasperated by the noise, the patient of a hospital turns off the respirator of her roommate

The first time, the nursing staff quickly intervened and let the patient know that her neighbor was dependent on the machine to survive. Nevertheless, shortly following she repeated her gesture. The victim then had to be resuscitated and she is still in intensive care today, as reported by the German daily Bild.

The patient was arrested and charged with attempted murder. When questioned, she justified her action by claiming to have been irritated by the noise of the respirator.
