Project L, Tekken 8, and Mortal Kombat 1 all gave us some exciting announcements and trailers at EVO, so it’s no surprise that Capcom’s already announced big fighting game has some too. The first trailer below reveals that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will join Street Fighter 6 on August 8. It’s not exactly what you’d dream of, though, as it’s just a collaboration that allows our custom character to look like a turtle, don TMNT-style gear, use special emotes, apply new titles, and other little things. Capcom knows that people expect to see something bigger than this at a fighting championship, so they also gave us a trailer announcing that a new character called AKI will be joining Street Fighter 6’s roster this fall. We’ve only seen one movie, so it’s hard to say how she’ll fight, but there’s no doubt those long nails will come in handy.
