Al-Marsad newspaper: A journalist interrupted the speech of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Council of Ministers and Envoy for Climate Affairs, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, and asked him regarding the details of Saudi Arabia’s negotiations with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Al-Jubeir responded, saying: “This is something between us and them, and we will do that, and I will not go into details with you regarding this, with all due respect, I am not authorized to give you the details of what is happening now.”

This came during Al-Jubeir’s participation in a dialogue session entitled: “Bold steps towards sustainability in the Middle East and North Africa region,” on the sidelines of the Davos Forum 2024:

Al-Jubeir said that the Kingdom has a large stock of uranium. He continued: “We want to benefit from it economically, and we do not want other parties to take or transfer our resources outside the Kingdom.”
