The centers located in the MRCs of Kamouraska, Témiscouata, Matanie and Matapédia will now be in operation 7 days a week from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Those located in the Basques and in the Mitis will be open from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. Finally, the Rimouski and Rivière-du-Loup centers remain accessible 7 days a week, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The services offered in the COVID screening centers are intended for specific clienteles, in particular people for whom treatment is being considered for COVID-19, people with a chronic illness or a condition that requires regular medical follow-up, people aged 70 and over, people living in an isolated community or region or going there to work, children under the age of 2 and pregnant women under the age of 2e or 3e trimester of pregnancy in good health or who have a chronic illness or condition.
Appointments must still be made via the Clic Santé website or by phone at 1-877-644-4545. Rapid diagnostic tests are available free of charge at all centres.
