The authorities want to cover more companies with tax monitoring. This was told to Vedomosti by a source familiar with the plans of the Ministry of Finance and the Federal Tax Service, the information was confirmed by a federal official. To do this, the bar for the financial performance of businesses that can apply this regime will be lowered by 20%. Now companies with a turnover of 1 billion or more, assets for the same amount and the amount of taxes paid in 100 million rubles have the right to join tax monitoring. Accordingly, the thresholds will be set at 800 million and 80 million rubles.
Representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Federal Tax Service confirmed plans to expand the regime to Vedomosti, but did not elaborate on the details.
