Real Viennese women – with open eyes
What is a “real Viennese”? In the second episode of the series “Real Viennese women” you get to know three originals: Fiacres are typical of the Viennese cityscape. It is less typical that a woman sits on the coach box. Susanne Trummer, better known as “Fiakersusi”, guides her customers through Vienna with a lot of humour, charm and pluck. Sandra offers a different kind of city tour: she was already confronted with homelessness as a teenager. Today, Sandra takes interested people to their former hiding places in the Venediger Au. Marion Schröder found her calling as a nursing assistant in the geriatric field. She loves a place in Vienna that others avoid: the central cemetery. The narrator of the series is Ulrike Beimpold, also a “real Viennese”.
