AT through this village, a total change of scenery awaits you. As bucolic as one might wish, Celles is located on a small tributary of the Lesse. He is part of the association which brings together the most beautiful villages in Wallonia. He was best known for his magnificent Château de Noisy (destroyed in 2016 despite opposition from locals). And for the little anecdote: the neo-Gothic castle had been a place of identification and inspiration for the well-known Tim Burton.
the association Tourism and Culture invites you to come and breathe spring! Courses of your choice (5, 10, 15 or 20 km) will be offered. Most this year? The discovery of a new agricultural path over 2 km in the common route. And “following the effort the comfort”, as indicated on Facebook Jacques Lebrun, organizer of the march. On the menu this year: homemade soup, hermit’s toast and the famous cellois turnover. Special beers including the local Saint-Hadelin cuvée will also be available.
