On the occasion of Creole Song Day, the Peruvian Association of Authors and Composers (Apdayc) will present the discussion “Periodization of Creole Song” on Thursday, October 26 at 6:30 in the followingnoon in the auditorium on Petit Thouars Avenue 5038, Miraflores.

The event will feature prominent speakers, including researchers Fred Rohner and Willy Terry, who will share information regarding the milestones and key stages that have marked the evolution of Creole song in Peru.
In addition to the academic presentations, outstanding artists will be recognized, and musical numbers will be offered to celebrate the richness and diversity of Creole music. As a special guest, there will be the participation of maestro José Escajadillo.
