Asuncion, IP Agency.- The 27th edition of Expo Rueda concluded with more than 740 million dollars in business prospects among the more than 700 participating companies from 24 countries.
During the two days of Expo Rueda, within the framework of Expo 2024, a total of 5,118 meetings between businessmen were quantified, reaching an expected business volume of 741,125,000 dollars. Most of the registered agreements have a short period of completion.
Of the companies registered at Expo Rueda, 53% were national and 47% foreign. After Paraguay (53%), Argentina (27%), Brazil (6%) and Bolivia (4%) were the most represented countries.
As for the main sectors, companies from 61 sectors participated, including those dedicated to processed foods, ICTs, consulting, agriculture, livestock and fishing, as well as foreign trade, transport and logistics, and construction and real estate development.
The agreed operations correspond to export activities (23%), import (21%), purchase/sale of national companies (18%), investment (18%), and various alliances (18%).
