The Free Therapy Department, in the Health Directorate in Buhaira Governorate, carried out an inspection campaign on private treatment centers, to protect citizens from exploitation and to review the necessary legal permits.
The campaign resulted in the seizure of a special center in Damanhour, which claims to be able to raise immunity, treat diabetic foot, and chest diseases such as asthma and others, using active oxygen.
The campaign achieved a number of seizures, including “4 blood bottles containing an anti-clotting solution”, as a quantity of the patient’s blood is drawn from it and a quantity of active oxygen is pumped from an unidentified device, the source of manufacture and country of origin, and the blood is re-injected once more into the patient’s body.
