Extension of the repair program for the faulty receiver of the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro

Apple lengthens a service program for the audio receiver of the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro (but not the iPhone 12 mini and 12 Pro Max): it now covers the three years following the first retail sale of the device, instead of two years. This program was launched almost a year ago.

Certain models of these two ranges (“ a very limited number ”, as Apple indicates) do not emit any sound when making or receiving calls. If so, then the device may be eligible for a free repair. You will need to make an appointment at an Apple Store, an authorized service center or contact Apple support to organize the operation. Full details are available at this address.
