A shoot for a short film will take place from June 3 to 8 in Montbard. The production is looking for extras aged 16 and over to participate in everyday scenes.
Montbard, renowned for the occasion Los Angeles, gradually died out. Businesses and residents are at the end of their rope, and a sheriff is causing turmoil in the city. In this special atmosphere, teenagers take part in an athletics race and roam the city through different stages. Such is the comical and absurd story of this new 20 minute short film titled The memory of the great dogs.
The filming made in Montbard
The film is directed by Nicole Genovese, a resident of Montbard, who wanted to film all the settings in the city. Filming, initially scheduled for May 19 to 24, will finally take place from June 3 to 8, following a production choice.
The Yukunkun company, managed by Marine Schapply, is in charge of production. Elsa Paineau, executive assistant, underlines that “it is a surrealist comedy” which reflects “a satire of current society”.
The search for extras
The production is therefore looking for extras to participate in daily scenes during filming, such as in a bakery or a café. All profiles are accepted from the moment the participants are over 16 years old. Applications are open until May 20.

You do not need to be available during the entire filming, which will take place from June 3 to 8, 2021.
