Fabien Roussel confides in his 9-year-old daughter’s fight against cancer for the first time: “I accompanied her for 6 months” – Watch

Last night, Fabien Roussel was one of the guests of “8:30 p.m., Sunday” on France 2. During the show, the former presidential candidate made heartbreaking secrets.

Faced with Alexandra Lamy who plays a mother determined to get her son out of a coma in the film “The Room of Wonders”, the politician confided to having “been personally touched” by the feature film. “In my life, I accompanied my daughter for 6 months who was diagnosed with cancer, at the age of 9, a hard cancer,” he said.

And to add: “I know the energy that a father, a mother can put into the life of their child and that, in the hospital, it is first of all life that is there to drive out death. I met the clowns of hope, I saw these wonderful caregivers from the Jeanne de Flandre hospital who have a specialized unit for children with leukemia. This film is a hymn to life”.
