According to the latest Shanghai ranking, the Faculty of Medicine of the UN is, together with that of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, the second best in Latin America, only surpassed by that of the University of Sao Paulo.
The aforementioned faculty, together with the one in Santa Catarina, was placed in a group that is between the 151 and 200 best medical schools in the world.
It is better than other prestigious faculties, such as those of the University of Buenos Aires, the University of Chile, the UNAM and those of the other universities in Brazil. This news that appears on the UN news portal can be confirmed on the official portal of the ranking of Shanghai, and has been totally ignored by the Colombian media.
