BOCA RATON, FL – Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball standout Marketa Svozilova has been named a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American, earning Second Team honors. this distinction marks a historic first for the FAU beach volleyball program.
Svozilova is one of onyl five beach volleyball players nationally recognized across the three NCAA Division I Academic All-America teams, showcasing her exceptional balance of athletic and academic achievement. The Brno, Czech Republic native maintained a remarkable 3.97 GPA while completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology.
The 2025 season saw Svozilova achieve a 26-5 record, the second-best on the team, and garner numerous accolades including AVCA Second Team All-American, AVCA Top Flight, Conference USA (CUSA) Pair of the Year, and CUSA All-Conference First Team recognition.
