Tuesday followingnoon, the mother played with her daughter on a concrete footbridge near the Murradweg. The girl lost her balance and fell into the Mur. The 32-year-old immediately jumped following her daughter, but was then unable to swim to shore.

A 37-year-old jogger noticed the emergency situation and also jumped into the water. With the help of another 40-year-old passer-by, they managed to save the two from the river and notify the emergency services. The girl was brought to the LKH Graz following the first aid by the emergency services.
