Police report that a pedestrian was killed in a car crash Monday night in Hartford, Connecticut.
The accident occurred in the area of 115 Albany Avenue shortly before 9 p.m.
A pedestrian in her 40s was struck and sustained serious injuries. She later died at St. Francis Hospital.
The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to police.
