During a serious road accident in the municipality of Waarschoot (Lievegem), in East Flanders, two people lost their lives on Saturday evening. This was confirmed by the Lievegem police.
The accident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. According to police, two vehicles each involving three occupants were involved.
There were two deaths, each in a different vehicle. The four other occupants were also in serious condition, according to police. The public prosecutor’s office went to the site for a more in-depth investigation.
