During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, around 1:10 a.m., a 31-year-old man was shot dead in his car with a weapon of war in Anderlecht, probably a Kalashnikov. The man was hit by 17 bullets and died at the scene. It would be a settling of scores linked to drug trafficking. “The suspects fled and a vehicle was found burned further away“, indicated Sarah Frederickx, spokesperson for the Brussels-Midi police zone.

While the investigation is ongoing, we learned this Friday that a surveillance camera was nearby at the time of the assassination. Published by Sudinfo, the video shows passers-by on the sidewalk suddenly turning around when they hear gunshots. Understanding the seriousness of the scene, the passers-by quickly fled. The camera did not directly film the shots, but it captured the sound of the bursts. In the images, we then see a car leaving at very high speed. A sequence that sends shivers down your spine.
