Fatim Al-Harz guest of “Poetry Readings”

The Literary Council in Khorfakkan hosted the poet Fatim Al Harz in the program (Poetry Readings) moderated by Maryam Alai, who started the session by presenting an overview of the Emirati poet who was distinguished by her interest in ancient Emirati Nabatean poetry and the winner of the award for poet Aushah bint Khalifa Al Suwaidi (Arab Girl) for popular poetry in its session The first is in 2019.
The poet began her session by presenting a poem regarding the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, in which she expressed her grief and sorrow at his passing.
The poet Al Harz went on to present a variety of social and emotional poems, which the audience responded to. Her poetic participation in the Gulf countries and the role of Emirati poets in enriching the local poetic scene. At the end of the event, the poet was honored with a shield and a certificate of appreciation.
