Fayoum Health Directorate Leads Training for Nurses on Women’s Health and Chronic Disease Detection

Today, the Fayoum Health Directorate organized a two-day training for a number of nurses working in hospitals, on initiatives to support women’s health and early detection of chronic diseases.

Dr. Sameh Al-Ashmawy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Fayoum, explained that the training continued on Sunday and Monday for 309 nurses and 23 of those supervising health departments on the program for integrating initiatives, where training took place on initiatives to support women’s health, the initiative for early detection of chronic diseases and kidney disease, the maternal and fetal health initiative, and the initiative Early detection of hearing impairment in children.

He said that he trained a central team from the Office of the Assistant Minister of Health for Initiatives Affairs, and it was attended by all members of the Presidential Initiatives Office in the Directorate.

Dr. Mohamed Ramadan, Director of the Initiatives Office at the Fayoum Health Directorate, confirmed that Fayoum Governorate ranked first in the performance indicators in the early detection of tumors initiative during the month of November.
