Mar-a-Lago, the mansion that former US President Donald Trump owns in Palm Beach, in southeastern Florida, was raided on Monday by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), as announced by the former president himself.
“These are dark times for our nation as my beautiful home at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach is now being besieged, raided and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump (2017-2021) wrote in a statement.
