Federal Highway Police Intercept Vehicle with 32.5kg of Cannabis – Belgian Driver Admits to Drug Deliveries to France

This Tuesday around 4:30 p.m., the federal highway police intercepted a vehicle, which was a go fast. While searching the vehicle, they found 32.5kg of cannabis, which was hidden.

The driver, of Belgian origin born in 1980, was driving a DS5 marked wanted, when he was spotted during a speed check, on the N85 between Neufchâteau and Bastogne.

According to the Luxembourg public prosecutor’s office, the man admitted to ensuring deliveries to and from France. Searches were carried out at his home in Verviers. On site, investigators discovered ten kilos of drugs and equipment.

The file was transferred to the Liège public prosecutor’s office, Verviers division.
