Federer donates half a million dollars to the children of Ukraine

Swiss tennis star Roger Federer has announced his donation of $500,000 to Ukrainian children, through his foundation, in order to “continue access to education for Ukrainian children.”

The player who won 20 major titles, and has been absent from the stadiums for regarding 8 months, said that “there are regarding 6 million Ukrainian children who are currently out of school, and we know that it is a very critical time to secure access to education. My family and I were shocked when we saw the photos from Ukraine, and we felt great sadness for the innocent people who have been so badly affected. We support peace »

Federer had established in 2003 a foundation to help children.
