Femicide in Trazegnies: a woman killed by firearm, the suspect deprived of liberty

A man born in 1988 was deprived of his liberty on Monday evening following a femicide which occurred on rue Albert Ier in Trazegnies (Courcelles, province of Hainaut), said the Charleroi prosecutor’s office confirming information from several media. The prosecution descended on the scene.

The emergency services and the Trieux police zone intervened Monday evening rue Albert Ier in Trazegnies. A man shot and killed a woman. “The suspect went following his gesture to a neighbor and he explained what he had just done. The neighbor gave the alert”confirmed the Charleroi public prosecutor’s office, informed of the facts and descending on the spot.

The alleged perpetrator was deprived of his liberty by the police. “He has a criminal record, but that does not concern acts of violence once morest women.”
