It is done through bubbles of fifteen boys, with three teachers, plus a pedagogical companion in each of those bubbles. In other words, for every fifteen boys who participate in the colonies, there are four adults who are taking care of them, sanitizing them and constantly reminding them of the protocols and care, ”explained Fernando Espinoza.

For this reason, we add science, technology, mathematics and language activities, ”said the mayor.
“In the summer camps we take care of the physical and emotional health of 10,000 children, providing all the joy and happiness possible and that, in addition, they do not lose the training of the study”, detailed Fernando Espinoza, adding: “We know that the emotional is one of the great problems that the pandemic brought to the boys, for not being able to be with their affections, their friends and their schoolmates every day. Therefore, from these colonies, within the framework of a new normal due to the pandemic, we want to transmit and bring joy to the children, and the truth that, as mayor, there is nothing that fills my soul and heart more than to see in a smile, the joy and happiness of the boys ”.
The colonies are in charge of the Ministry of Sports, Tourism and Recreation, in coordination with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Educational Policies, Secretaries of Public Health, Social Development, the Municipal Lifeguard School and the Ministry of Culture, among others.

We all have to intensify prevention measures with individual and collective responsibility, maintaining care to stop the invisible enemy, called COVID-19 ”.
