Vienna/Lenzing – The listed fiber manufacturer Lenzing continues to struggle with the economic environment and is writing off almost half a billion euros. The annual evaluation of the valuation of assets in accordance with the international accounting rules IFRS revealed a need for impairment of up to 480 million euros for the 2023 financial year, the company announced on Tuesday evening following the stock market closed.
