Chennai: Legendary Viswanathan Anand is all set to become the Deputy President of the International Chess Federation (FIDE). If current President Arkady Derkovich is re-elected, Anand will be appointed his vice president.

Derkovich announced his team on Twitter. Anand later shared the news on Twitter. Elections will also be held at the 44th Chess Olympiad to be held in Chennai this year.
