Italian Stefano Pioli achieved his third victory with the Saudi Al-Nasr Club after taking over the job from Portuguese Luis Castro.

Al-Nasr defeated Al-Wahda with two unanswered goals in the match that was held in the fifth round of the Saudi Professional League.

Brazilian Angelo Gabriel scored the first goal for Al-Nasr Club in the 41st minute.

Cristiano Ronaldo added the second goal for Al-Nasr Club in the 56th minute of the match.

The victory raised Al-Nasr’s score to 11 points, in second place, one point behind Al-Hilal, which played one less match.

While Al-Wahda Club’s balance stopped at 4 points in 14th place in the Saudi League ranking table.

Pioli achieved his third victory with Al-Nasr Club after defeating Al-Ettifaq in the fourth round 3-0, and overcame Al-Hazm in the round of 32 of the Saudi King’s Cup 2-1.

On the other hand, Al-Wahda suffered its third consecutive defeat in the Saudi Professional League competition.

Brazilian Angelo Gabriel, who came from Chelsea, scored his first goal for Al-Nasr.

While Ronaldo reached the fourth goal in the current season of the Saudi League, 4 goals ahead of Aleksandar Mitrovic, the Al Hilal striker, who scored 8 goals, and the Frenchman, Karim Benzema, the Ittihad Jeddah striker, who scored 5 goals.

It is noteworthy that last season, Ronaldo broke the record for the Saudi League’s top scorer in one season, after scoring 35 goals.
