Filippo Ganna won the time trial contested around Mons over a 32km course and regained the lead in the general classification by winning this 4th stage.

Philip Ganna won the first stage of the Tour de Wallonie and took the leader’s jersey, which he then gave up to Arnaud Of Lie then to Timo Cup. But the Italian might recover the leader’s tunic on his favorite exercise, the time trial.

The Italian champion of the exercise had to fight with his teammate Joshua Tarlin but finally achieved the best time with 8 seconds ahead of his teammate, British time trial champion.

The podium of this time trial is made up of 100% riders from the INEOS Grenadiers team since it is Connor Swift who took third place 30 seconds behind Ganna.

Brent Van Moer was the best Belgian and finished fourth 37 seconds behind the winner of the day, while Xandro die took seventh position 1 minute 24 behind Ganna.
