Chennai > Cinema-drama actor V Parameswaran Nair (85) passed away. He was under treatment for some time due to stroke. He died in a private hospital in Chennai. Parameswaran Nair has been a resident of Chennai for over five decades. After serving in the army for a few years, Parameswaran Nair also worked in IDPL, a central government firm from 1968 to 1991. After retirement, he was active in the public sector such as theater work and Malayalee organization work.
Worked in organizations including Madrasi Kerala Samajam. The role of Khaleppad in the movie ‘Ananthabhadram’ directed by Santhosh Sivan was much noticed. Santhosh also played the lead role in Sivan’s English film. He has acted in Doordarshan and private television serials. Parameswaran Nair received the Pratham Guru Pooja Award of the Kerala Sangeetha Natak Academy. Funeral at 5 p.m.
