Thiruvananthapuram > The finance department has sanctioned the amount for providing welfare pension for two months on the occasion of Onam. The Finance Minister informed that the pension distribution will be completed by August 23 starting from the second week of August. A total of Rs 1,762 crore has been sanctioned, including Rs 1,550 crore for Social Security Pension and Rs 212 crore for Welfare Board Pension.
