Financial market: Publication of an anti-corruption guide

This guide aims to present the basic concepts related to corruption in order to demystify the phenomenon and enable players in the financial sector to understand its different dimensions, to highlight the key components of an anti-corruption system that can be deployed in the within a company operating in the Moroccan financial sector and to identify some success factors for an effective strategy in this area. It follows a series of training and awareness-raising actions carried out for the benefit of all players in the financial sector.
The said guide, which does not replace the regulations in force, but aims to facilitate their understanding and implementation, targets companies in the financial sector in all its components, in particular credit and payment institutions. , participants in the capital market and in the insurance and social welfare sector. It is part of the promotion of a culture of probity within the said sector.
This initiative is part of the roadmap for the year 2021, relating to the implementation of the cooperation agreement for preventing and combating corruption in the financial sector. This agreement, it should be remembered, was signed in November 2019, between BAM, AMMC, ACAPS and INPPLC.
