Vienna – In the first half of the year, the financial police found significantly more violations in the labor market area: In more than 13,000 labor market controls, they recorded 16 percent more criminal complaints than in the same period last year. Around 11.2 million euros in penalties were requested. According to a statement by the Ministry of Finance, the financial police collected around 8.7 million euros in taxes and fines in the first six months.
