Why did they increase?
Dora Ríos, who is the president of the Venezuelan Wholesalers Association, warned on August 7 about the high prices of airline tickets to Colombia.
According to Ríos, the increase in the price of air tickets between Venezuela and Colombia was due to the greater number of passengers and fewer flights.
“We understand that there is a fare increase because it is the only option to leave the country, especially for those traveling to destinations beyond Colombia, South America and North America,” he said.
