The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan shared official information regarding the fire that broke out tonight on the territory of the industrial park “Alabuga”.

“At 18.35 (Moscow time) on May 28, 2023, a message was received regarding the burning of a warehouse for the manufacture of cakes at the address: Republic of Tatarstan, Yelabuga municipal district, special economic zone Alabuga, 14 street, building No. in the message.

It is noted that when they arrived at the scene of the fire, firefighters found the roof of the warehouse building on fire. All employees had already evacuated by this time. There are no dead or injured. At 19:39 Moscow time, the fire was localized on an area of ​​1940 “squares”.

– At 21.16 firefighters eliminated the open fire. The cause of the fire will be established by investigators of the State Fire Supervision.

– According to updated information, the fire did not occur on the territory of the special economic zone “Alabuga”, but on the territory of the industrial site “Alabuga” in the Yelabuga region.
