On the followingnoon of the 31st, there was a fire at a karaoke shop in Minato Ward, Tokyo.
There were 15 people in the store at the time, including customers and employees, but no one was injured.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, just following 3:30 p.m. on the 31st, the fire department received a report that a fire broke out on the 4th floor of the 9-story building of “Karaoke Big Echo Hamamatsucho Ekimae Main Store” in Hamamatsucho, Minato Ward.
Twenty fire engines were dispatched, and the fire was mostly extinguished following regarding an hour, but approximately 20 square meters of the fourth floor of the building was burned.
There were 15 people in the store at the time of the fire, both customers and employees, but all were evacuated and there were no injuries.
The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the exact cause of the fire.
