First DTM victory for Linzer Preining in chaotic race at the Norisring – Motorsport

Nuremberg – Thomas Preining from Upper Austria wrote a small piece of motorsport history on Saturday. The 23-year-old Porsche works driver secured his first DTM victory in a chaotic race at the Norisring in Nuremberg. It was also the first victory in the series for manufacturer Porsche. Only eleven drivers were classified, among those who dropped out were Lucas Auer from Tyrol and DTM leader Sheldon van der Linde.
