The Flavori international brand has announced that it is withdrawing its “ground fennel” from sale, in agreement with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (Afsca). The product would have too high a content of chlorpyrifos residues, a phytosanitary product.
Flavori International asks its customers “not to consume this product and to return it to the point of sale in which it was purchased”. It was sold in many Belgian stores, particularly in Brussels.
