For the pilot program, the department “began using 10% of the allocated funds to launch the [programa]Jones said. “Through the pilot program, DEO works with service providers in the banking, property insurance and utility industries to identify customers who may be eligible for assistance. DEO, in turn, works directly with those owners to determine eligibility for the program and provide assistance.”
