NEW YORK: The deadline to submit nominations for the July 8 Focana election in Orlando will be Monday, May 23, Election Commission Chairman Dr. Mammon c. Jacob, members Mariamma Pillai and Saji M. Pothen informed. The last date for withdrawal of nomination papers is June 6. Notice must be given in writing to withdraw the application.
The election will take place in conjunction with the Focana Convention, which will be held July 7-10 at the Hilton Double Tree Hotel. The election will take place following the Focana General Assembly on the morning of July 8. Voting begins at 8 a.m. Address: Double Tree by Hilton, 5780 Major Blvd, Orlando, FL, 32819. Informed.
Focana General Secretary Sajimon Antony said the general notification issued by the Election Commission regarding the election had been sent to all member organizations.
The last date for renewal of membership of member organizations was May 6. Nominations received from non-renewed member organizations will be disqualified.
