Football DFB Women: Wück home premiere in Duisburg against Australia – Heimatsport

After the Olympics, the women’s soccer team’s first friendly match on home soil will be against Australia. The match will be played in Duisburg. It will be a debut for the coach.

After winning the bronze medal at the Olympic Games, the women’s national football team will present itself to fans in Duisburg for the first time. As the German Football Association (DFB) announced on Wednesday, the team of the new national coach Christian Wück will face Australia in a test match on October 28 in the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena.

Tickets can be purchased from the DFB ticket portal from September 3rd. In Paris, the DFB team beat Australia 3-0 in the opening match. Three days before the match in Duisburg, the German team under the new coach will face England at London’s Wembley Stadium.
