Al Marsad newspaper: Cancer Research UK said it is important to know the symptoms of this disease because it helps to know what to expect, and prepare for what comes next.
The foundation explained that when death is very close, a person may notice some physical changes such as “changes in breathing, loss of bladder control, loss of consciousness.”
She continued: “It can be emotionally difficult to watch someone go through these physical changes, but they are part of the natural dying process, and when a patient has these symptoms, they enter a phase known as end-of-life care.”
The foundation indicated that the changes that can occur when a person is in the final stages of cancer are “difficulty swallowing, loss of appetite, restless movements, noisy breathing, cold feet, hands, arms and legs, confusion.”
