For the first time in its history.. Al-Khadra Hospital successfully performs a brain and nerve surgery

The Ministry of Health announced the success of Al-Khadra General Hospital in conducting the first neurosurgery operation inside the hospital since its founding 45 years ago.

The ministry stated that a Libyan medical advisory team succeeded in performing a surgery on a one-year-old child, who was suffering from a change in the pressure of the cerebral drainage tube.

The ministry stated that delicate operations within the public sector were carried out in specialized hospitals, such as Tripoli University Hospital and Ali Omar Askar-Sabaia Hospital.

Two days ago, Al-Khadra Hospital recorded the success of the aortic valve implantation of a 78-year-old patient, without surgery, using the “TAVI” technique, which is used for the first time in the public sector.
