Doha: As the waiting days for the World Cup are reduced to almost two months, Qatar is putting on its boots for the warm-up to brush up on the lessons learned. The host team will face the Croatian B team in Austria. The match is on Tuesday, September 20. The Qatar Football Association announced that the match will be held at Weiner Neustadium in Austria at 6:00 local time.
The World Cup team has been training abroad for more than three months under coach Felix Sanchez. Those who are gearing up to make their first World Cup participation a resounding success will lace up their boots in a few matches ahead of the World Mela. Last month, they faced Jamaica and Ghana teams. On 20th, Qatar will face Croatia ‘A’ team, on 23rd Canada, who qualified for the World Cup, and Chile teams on 27th.
